Striking another match and sticking it to the end of Dahlia's cigarette, Sophia giggled. "I seriously couldn't tell you why I walked up to you. After work I decided that I wanted the rest of the night to go smoothly, I just wanted to sit in a danceclub undetected. I do suppose I'm a bit of a danger magnet, though. I always get myself into messes." Sophia glanced at Dahlia. "How long has it been since you've actually had a conversation with someone? Not luring them in or anything, just an actual chat with another?"

Dahlia breathed the smoke in deeply, before slowly letting it billow out through her parted lips.
"Hmmm... a decade, perhaps? Really talking, I mean. I talk to plenty of you mortals at work, but never converse further than brief conversation. You people tend to get on my nerves. 'Oh life is so hard, blah blah blah'," Dahlia rolled her eyes. "I'm immortal. I feed of mortals like a tick. And yet I still find things that brighten my day. Like finding a handsome man, and sucking him dry... his blood, I mean." She made a face, and took another long drag.

"A decade?!" Sophia said, sucking on her own cig. "That annoys me too, how so many sims can just sit and complain about BLESSINGS. And then they meet tragedy and realize how trivial they are.....then they go back to bitching again." Sophia smirked. "Suuuure, his blood." She winked. "So you don't have any real companions? Isn't that...lonely?"

"I don't have any real need for companions. For companionship of a physical nature, there seems to be an endless supply of handsome men in this city, though if I stay here long enough, they will start depleting... For someone to 'talk' to and all that, I can always have a little fun with my prey. Have conversations with them, talk to them, tell them everything about my life... all while being tied to my bed, or to a chair. Then I feed, and I don't have to worry about them talking...." Dahlia held the cigarette between two fingers, and looked at Sophia out of the corner of her eye, raising an eyebrow.
"Do I have to worry about you talking, Sophia?" Dahlia playfully ran her tongue over her exposed fangs. It had been many years since she'd had a conversation with a mortal, and it was an odd feeling, being able to joke with someone again. Having been through so many years on this earth, she had been worn down to a state of desensitization. There was no way she trusted this particular mortal yet, but she showed no visual signs of planning to run.

"Theives as a rule don't snitch. About anything. It's in our code." She clamped her mouth shut after the words left. 'Whoops,' she thought. "Heh."
Finishing her cigarette Sophia dropped it and stomped it out. She eased against the wall and raised an eyebrow and Dahlia. "But if you kill them afterwards, doesn't it defeat the purpose? Sorry if I'm being awfully forward with you, but I'm sort of drunk, sort of exhausted, and I've had a hectic day. Haha."

Dahlia's brows shot up. "Thieves, eah? That's interesting..." she took a soothing nicotine-filled breathe.
"Defeat what purpose? The purpose was to get it out, off my chest and all that. What am I supposed to do? Keep them around? Let them run to the police, 'Oh, there's a vamp living on the south side, and I've got proof!'. I've made that mistake before. Never again... Men have one use. And I don't believe I have to explain what that use is." She dropped her own cig to the ground, and crushed it with her heel.

"Yeah, scum of the earth we are. In a way, I'm a sort of parasite as well. Living off other's fortunes." Sophia shrugged.
"So are you going to kill me? Do you really think I'm gonna run off to the police? It'll be like kindergarden. 'She's a vampire!' 'Oh yeah, well she's a stealer!' It would be madness."

Dahlia chuckled, and gazed up at the full moon hanging in the ink blue sky, her head lulling against the rough brick. "I'm afraid it would be a wasted night if I didn't kill you... undying bloodlust and all that..." Silence crept in around them, as Dahlia gnawed her inner lip gently.
She could handle this one of two ways. She could lunge, kill the girl, drink her dry and be done with it. Or, she could do the unthinkable. She could let her go. After all she'd heard that night, it would be a stupid idea to let her go scotfree. But in all honesty, Dahlia still had a speck of faith in her cold heart in the human race.... after all, at one time, she'd been one... and perhaps her run in with the two feisty human women had struck a cord with her afterall.
"Well, I'll give you a choice. You either give me my matchbook back and get the hell away, or you let me maul you and get it over with." She didn't face Sophia, rather kept her head tilted skyward and looked down her nose at the other woman, a small smirk on her face.

Sophia smiled, proud of herself, but not arrogant, and extended the matchbook between her two fingers. "I'll see you around, Dahlia." Sophia turned around and started walking away, fighting the urge to look back.

"Not if you're lucky..." Dahlia mumbled and watched Sophia walk off. Inspite of herself, Dahlia smiled a genunie smile, before catching herself and letting it fall off her face quickly. She looked ruefully at the sky, and said "Now would be the perfect time to be able to turn into a bat." She shook her head, and walked off in the opposite direction.

Morgan sat in silence at the far end of the bar.
Her cigarette was burning out in the ashtray as she swirled the dark brown liquid in her glass. She would occassionally bring the glass to her lips, taking in the liquid that tingled the back of her throat.
She separated conversation from conversation, adding most to the white noise in the back of her mind. Her leg bounced up and down against the foot bar of her stool, an involuntary reaction to her boreddom.

And Marisol rested in an alley, eyes narrowed, hair hanging into her face. She was royally pissed. No matter what happened, she shouldn't have run. So stupid...With a vicious swipe of her hand, she brushed the dust from her shoes. Screw this. She was going back.
